Akaroa

It was so hot yesterday we decided to go out (mainly cos the car has air con like a freezer!)
We headed for akaroa













Caleb was gorgeous and fell asleep in the car hehe

We got there just after lunch and got yummy (though highly expensive) akaroa fish and chips. Caleb thought he was great sitting at the table and helping himself!














Then we headed around to the beach - Calebs never been before (slack parents!)
He loved the feeling of the sand and LOVED the water...







He wanted to go right out. He went out up to his chest but Andrew didnt want to go any further cos he didnt want to get his shorts wet lol!

Playing with the mud, great stuff!!

We were heading back to the car when Caleb encountered a little boy and decided to go and help himself to his things! Hes such a social wee thing.
So he dug some holes with his new little friend!

Then after a change of clothes we headed back home. Caleb fell asleep again! Was all tuckered out after that sea air :)

It felt like we were there for ages but we actually only stayed a couple of hours hehe
